When I was looking for a gynae, a friend suggested Dr. Suman Kher, since she had already consulted her. Being in the IT industry forces you to look for all information on the internet and nowehere could I find a concrete review on her. So I decided to write one myself.
Dr. Suman is a nice and professional lady. She, alongwith Dr. Monica Malik sit in the Apollo Hospital, Noida. Both of them are very pleasant and relaxed docs. They'll give away details of the pregnancy as and when you proceed in. Till date, I am having a good experience with them.
Also, do take an appointment in Apollo for meeting them, atleast I always do that.

It is good that you put up this post for the best doctor I ever met. She is no more. she passed away on the 6th of April.

ReplyDeleteI still can't come to term with the fact that she is no more. It just seems impossible. I and my husband were planning our second child and wanted to consult her...but when we got to know of the devastating news....it was too much to bear and we have now given up the idea of extending our family. There was no one like her and never would be. May her soul rest in peace.

ReplyDeleteI came to know that she lost her battle to cancer.She was a great doctor,and wonderful human being..Its very shocking indeed to hear the news that she is no more.

ReplyDeleteDoctors in Apollo Noida are really good and insist on Normal Delivery, they work as a team and I really loved that. I had normal delivery and delivered a baby girl in Sept 2012, and thanks to Dr. Hina Mittal for all her patience and cooperation.

ReplyDeleteI'm consulting Dr. Monica Malik. I'm into my last month of pregnancy and for some personal reasons she's going on a leave. She's told me that Dr. Hina will take care of my delivery now. Though Dr. Monica tried to make me feel comfortable with this, but I'm confused about whether I should go with Dr. Hina or not. Does anyone have any experience with her? Is she able to handle the deliveries all by herself?

ReplyDeleteMe and my wife is currently consulting Dr Monika Malik I second the opinion shared by others she is a nice person and good doctor. But due to her popularity she is also taking more patient then her capacity. Still you have to wait outside but as soon as you enter she makes you comfortable and treat you well she didn't insist you on multiple ultrasound and tests experience till now is wonderful.

ReplyDeleteAfter going through the internet searches and reading reviews of Dr Monica Malik, I started consulting her since the start of my pregnancy. Since my first visit to her and Dr Hina Mittal, I found connected to them. They spoke simple language and not medical jargons. They explained everything comparing from day to day's life. They told me what to eat/ what no to, Answered all my logical and not so logical questions patiently, advised me, guided me towards a healthy pregnancy. They were not in any hurry to finish off y visit. They would give enough time (15-20 minutes) for each patient. Towards the end of my term I was concerned if I would be able to deliver normally but then both the doctors gave confidence and told me to exercise and walk regularly. I followed each and every advise they gave me; be it about eating proteins, avoiding ghee etc. I had cholestasis of Pregnancy and I had to deliver in 37 week. Since DR Monica and Dr Heena knew this, they gave me injections and medications to mature Baby's lung as delivery was in 37 week and chances was baby would have immature lungs. They are well informed, knowledgeable and dedicated doctors.
I was admitted in Apollo Noida on 18th Oct. Both the doctors came to meet me in the morning and induced pains. They pain didnt increase as expected. I was disheartened and scared that now I would have to go for C-Section, but then Dr Monica and Dr Heena explained to me how every individuals body is different and how they plan to have normal delivery. They told me how I am showing signs of natural labour after initial induction. They told me to rest for the night and start pain induction in the morning as more pain induction on 18th would have stressed the unborn baby. Pain was induced on 19th early morning and my pains grew as expected. They made me walk, squat and do wahtever is best for me and after 33 hours of labour, I delivered a healthy baby. Baby was normal though born at 37 weeks.
Both of them were courteous, polite and caring always. They knew who their patient was, patient's name and patient conditions just by patient's face. That much dedicated they are.
I would highly advise anyone who asks for good gynae. Thanks Dr Monica Malik and Dr Heena Mittal. As a doctor they have touched my life and soul and I would remain thankful to them always.
